Readers who own the 2004 should be thrilled; as it is a magnificent wine by any measure. My favorite age to drink Sine Qua Non wines is around ten years. Dark, thick and massive looking. Nose of black fruit, flowers and chocolate and an interesting hint of stems (not in a bad way). A campfire note plus some pleasant sweet/acrid notes. In the mouth it was virtually perfect; thick, very sweet core, good acidity and lots of very fine-grained, sweet tannins.
